Meaningful work you'll be a part of
As a Project Control Officer, you'll be part of a team that helps deliver high quality, client service excellence and operational efficiency

• Development and maintenance of necessary documentation to support planning and execution of projects

• Supporting the estimation of project benefits, scope, approach, schedule, risks, and resourcing to prepare relevant project documents (ex. Scope statement, charter, risk register, project plan etc.)

• Management of stakeholder engagement and change management considerations, plans, and strategies throughout the project lifecycle

• Analysis of project progress to support status reporting, project dashboards, and communication of key items for escalation

• Support the facilitation of focus groups and other multi-stakeholder meetings and work sessions to assess and develop processes, procedures, and tools to support solution development or project requirements

• Identify relevant performance indicators and develop data collection methods/tools, coordinate data collection, and analyze for the purpose of benefits realization/outcome management and continuous improvement

• Development of project management documentation templates to support the establishment of a Project Management Office function (ex. Project Charter, Schedule management, risk management, resource management etc.)

• Development of project governance frameworks to support structured communication and stakeholder management

Experience and skills you'll use to solve
• Reliability Status Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who will be engaged on these assignments. Prior to applying, please review the Government of Canada website to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements to obtain this clearance. This will become a condition of your employment with PwC should you receive an offer from us

• Minimum three years of previous experience in project management delivering large scale projects preferably in IT/digital operations and a degree or college diploma is required

• Completed or working towards certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or any relevant project management certification would be an added advantage

• Experience in preparing or facilitating presentations and communication to a variety of audiences is required

• Experience with a variety of project management methodologies (ex. Agile, Scrum framework, SDLC process etc.) and proficiency with various project management tools and applications (ex. MS Project, MS Project, Jira, Asana etc.)

• Experience with virtual team collaboration applications (ex. MS Teams, Google Meet, Mural, Asana, Jamboard etc.)

• When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required . Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset

• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
