Meaningful work you'll be a part of
As a Data Analyst, Digital Operations (Public Sector) you'll be part of a team that helps deliver high quality, client service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Conceptualize, define, and maintain core metrics pertaining to areas of focus for a given engagement and establishing reliable routines for reporting and monitoring
• Interpret data and information pertaining to areas of focus for a given engagement to enable compilation of analyses, reports, and presentations
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for any applicable data source and consolidated dataset
• Create technical documentation and system/data requirements
• Support improvement of analytical processes such as report automation, data preparation, and processing methodologies to enhance efficiency of workflows (ex. Automate extract, load, transform, and validation routines)
• Visualize analytics results leveraging various visualization tools (ex. Tableau, PowerBI )
• Develop sophisticated analysis drawing on a wide variety of data sources and advanced analytical methods to derive insights from data and present findings to a variety of audiences in a way that will be easily understood
• Leverage data and analytics to identify process improvement opportunities and measure impact of change
• Identify additional data sources to enable additional relevant analytics
Experience and skills you'll use to solve
• Reliability Status Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff engaged in these assignments. Prior to applying, please review the Government of Canada website to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements to obtain this clearance. This will become a condition of your employment with PwC should you receive an offer from us
• Previous experience of delivering quality deliverables in the domain of data analysis and University degree or college diploma is required
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing and synthesizing results required
• Experience with various data and analytical concepts and methodologies required
• Knowledge of statistical modeling applications and techniques for the collection, consolidation, transformation, and validation of data
• Experience and knowledge working with large datasets, building tables, queries, and data models
• Ability to effectively communicate findings and results of analysis for various audiences to understand
• In-depth experience with data analytics and visualization applications (ex. ACL, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI , and Databases - MS Access, SQL Server Reporting Services etc.)
• When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required . Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset
