Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Technology Strategy and Transformation Manager - Financial Services, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Collaborate and contribute as a project team leader as well as participate in multiple concurrent technical discussions topics with architects at Financial Institutions
• Function as a Cloud Subject Matter Expert for implementing and overseeing cloud strategy in client organizations
• Leverage Cloud environment and service-oriented architecture principles to define and own Solution Architecture (applications and data technologies) in client engagements
• Work with clients to design a full-stack solution using software that fully integrates cloud infrastructure from data flow, security, DevOps, and other standpoints
• Propose suggestions and best practices to optimize clients' cloud presence, performance, security, and cost
• Oversee application architecture requirements and deployment in cloud environments,
• Provide guidance and recommendations on project direction such as setting priority of work packages, resource allocation, and work package scheduling for cloud related projects
• Coach and collaborate with peers who assist with this work, including providing coaching, feedback and guidance on work performance
• Identify, qualify and close opportunities to deliver services with new and existing clients
• Continue to advance your skills, knowledge and network related to your field
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Relevant experience working as a solution architect or related capacity (preferably in Financial Services)
• Hands on experience with different cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); experience in developing cloud implementation/migration strategy and executing technical feasibility, risk & compliance assessments
• Experience in defining and designing the appropriate cloud architecture for applications and platforms
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related engineering fields. An MBA is an asset.
• Certifications: Agile, cloud engineering (Azure, AWS, GCP),and in development tools and languages (Java, Python, etc.) are assets
• Good understanding of solution architecture, API lifecycle, technical documentation, including logical and physical architecture, and systems design artifacts
• Good understanding of integration architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful services, Pub / Sub etc. including Event Driven Architecture
• Experience with architecture modelling is required
• Experience delivering projects in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologies
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including developing business presentations, technical writing and facilitating data driven options analysis senior level stakeholder discussions
