A career in our Platform and Integration Architecture practice will provide you with the opportunity to bring our clients a competitive advantage through delivering architecture solutions, governance and alignment during the delivery process, and ensure alignment to the overall project objectives and technology strategy. PwC Canada is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Azure Data Architect, Manager to join our fast-growing dynamic Microsoft Alliance Data team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of data solutions on the Azure platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data architecture aligns with business objectives and supports our strategic goals.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As an Azure Data Architect, Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead the design and implementation of data solutions on the Azure platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement data models that support business processes and reporting requirements.
• Ensure data models are aligned with the overall data architecture and business objectives.
• Work with ETL developers to ensure data models are properly integrated into data pipelines.
• Implement data governance and data quality standards within data models.
• Develop and maintain data architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Provide technical leadership and support for data-related projects and initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and cloud computing.

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Solid experience with Azure Data and Analytics Services such as MS Fabric, Azure SQL Databases, Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• Proficient experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms in Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master's degree and relevant certifications in Azure and data architecture are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions.
• Strong leadership, team management, and collaboration skills.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset
