Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Cloud Strategy Director , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. This role demands a visionary leader with extensive expertise in cloud technologies, experience across various hyperscalers , and a strong background in strategic planning and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving successful cloud initiatives that deliver measurable business value. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategies that align with clients' business objectives and goals.
• IT Environment Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing IT environments, identifying opportunities for cloud adoption and optimization.
• Cloud Migration Planning: Create detailed cloud migration plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and risk management strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, security, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cloud integration and deployment strategies.
• Cloud Architecture Guidance: Provide expert advice on cloud architecture, design, and best practices to both clients and internal teams.
• Cloud Operating Models & FinOps: Develop cloud operating models, identify FinOps opportunities, and drive cost optimization strategies.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing to guide strategy development.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of cloud consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Business Development: Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
• Change Management: Promote cloud adoption and lead change management initiatives to ensure the successful implementation of cloud strategies.
• Firm Reinvestment: Contribute to firm reinvestment activities and support thought leadership in cloud strategy and transformation.
• Implementation Support: Provide guidance during the implementation phase, working closely with client teams to ensure successful execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making adjustments as needed.
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT consulting, with at least 5 years focused on cloud strategy and transformation. Should have experience of shaping large cloud migration and / or cloud data platform implementation engagements.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies.
• Project Leadership: Proven experience in leading large-scale cloud transformation projects from strategy to execution.
• IT Infrastructure Understanding: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application development, and data management in a cloud environment.
• Strategic & Analytical Skills: Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication & Presentation: Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience in C-suite level engagements.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
• Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen with a strategic approach to cloud transformation.
• Client Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Leadership & Management: Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
