Job Description

Brainhunter is currently seeking "Senior Project Manager" to work for our valued Financial Service Client. The position requires the successful consultant to be on-site 2 days a week in Toronto.

Role Profile:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the rollout of the Kyriba Treasury Management System (TMS). This high-visibility contract position will be instrumental in driving the successful implementation of Kyriba, working closely with their implementation partner PwC and internal finance and technical teams.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in project management, financial systems, and stakeholder alignment to ensure a smooth and effective rollout. Candidate will have the opportunity to lead a critical project that will enhance our treasury capabilities and operational efficiency. Candidate will work with a collaborative team of professionals, leveraging industry-leading technology to drive meaningful business outcomes.
Team size 15-17 project team members
PM methodology - This system integration is waterfall methodology - but possibly a phased approach (TBD).

Key Responsibilities:
    • Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of the Kyriba TMS implementation, from planning and design to execution and go-live.
    • Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for PwC, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and budget.
    • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal finance, treasury, and IT teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and drive project success.
    • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to keep the project on track.
    • Budget Oversight: Manage project budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
    • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and next steps.
    • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of Kyriba across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably in financial services or corporate treasury experience.
    • Proven experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or financial system rollouts experience is a strong asset.
    • Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with external implementation partners.
    • Understanding of finance, banking, treasury operations, and financial technology.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
    • Experience working with consulting firms (e.g., PwC) on system implementations is a plus.
