Job Description

Brainhunter is currently seeking "Associate Project Manager" to work for our valued Financial Service Client. The position requires the successful consultant to be on-site 3 days a week in Toronto.
Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Management & Governance within Workplace Solutions Technology & Enabling Platforms, the Associate Project Manager is responsible for providing senior administrative project support and supporting or leading projects of low risk/complexity under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager to ensure projects are defined, planned, and delivered as outlined in the Business Case.
In this role, you will apply your foundational project management education to support and/or lead small projects under guidance, or a combination of progressive education and experience to learn project management standards, tools, processes, and practices.

What you will do
    • Provide reporting and analysis to Program and Project Managers on an as needed basis.
    • Take accountability for own deliverables keeping in mind team goals and objectives.
    • Provide tool support and training for Project Managers and other resources (Clarity & JIRA/Confluence).
    • Provide support to larger or more complex projects through financial, project and performance reporting to promote effective communication and decision making.
    • Data entry and validation of project specific information for reporting, track project costs and ensure reconciliation in financial reporting systems.
    • Contribute to knowledge base, culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
    • Support organizational change and improvement, including supporting the implementation and adherence to changes in processes and practices.
    • Ensure the effective execution of smaller projects or initiatives to deliver a product that satisfies stakeholder expectations and achieves project success criteria.

What you will bring
    • Familiar in Clarity Cost Plan functionality
    • 2+ years combination of Project Management education and experience in supporting/leading projects.
    • Experience administering/supporting Clarity and JIRA/Confluence.
    • Knowledge of project management practices, methodologies, processes, and tools.
    • Expertise in reporting, data collection and analysis.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
    • Understanding of resource management planning and support.
    • Ability to manage a high volume of activity and competing priorities.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to train and share knowledge effectively.
    • Experience with creating and maintaining Power BI reports/dashboards (nice to have)
