Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Data Science Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Design and build out of data models
• Translate Business domains and Data domains into data elements and artifacts to design and build the data lifecycle
• Codify business rules
• Map sources to models for structured and unstructured data
• Create scalable batches and real-time data pipelines
• Develop data quality solutions
• Interface and interact with varied senior stakeholder groups including our consulting partners, client C-Suite executives, and our own development teams
• Build compelling, enterprise level, dashboards and reporting suites targeted at senior business audiences
• Understand client data in the context of varied client engagement objectives (e.g. find process efficiency, increase marketing effectiveness, predict operational volume, automation manual processes and decision points)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (both internal and client) to design and develop analytics solutions leveraging cloud and/or existing client technologies
• Delegate to other team members where appropriate to provide stretch opportunities and coach them through the solution development to help deliver results
• Develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems and share relevant thought leadership

Experience and skills you'll use to solve
• Strong Python programming skills and knowledge of SAS or R
• Hands-on experience with SQL language and datastores
• Experience cleaning, transforming and visualizing large data sets working with various data formats
• Experience with common machine Learning libraries in Python, Spark, and Deep Learning/AI frameworks
• Well-rounded knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud or MS Azure
• Knowledge of Data tools and ecosystem (e.g., Hive, Sqoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Previous experience managing project teams
• Previous consulting or professional services experience would be an asset
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in a team
