Assurance Learning and Development Program Manager

Job Description
A career in Learning and Development, within Business Enablement, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You'll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.
Meaningful work you'll be part o f
As an Assurance Learning and Development (L&D) Program Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues and deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders from the business (e.g., Assurance Risk & Quality, Strategic Change, Risk Assurance Services, etc.), Human Capital, Resource Management, local offices, global teams, and others. Leverage these relationships to share ideas, best practices, and content
• Identify learning needs and develop suitable strategies and solutions in consultation with Program Sponsors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and L&D colleagues
• Ensure critical success factors and project risks are identified and managed proactively (e.g., training needs analysis performed, specific learning objectives identified, target audience and instructor profile determined, etc.)
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop course content using appropriate instructional design and digital learning platforms
• Develop and execute implementation plans for assigned programs, including budgeting, scheduling, communications, curriculum set up, enrollments, translation, evaluation, and project management
• Manage instructor requirements, facilitate instructor skills, and deliver train-the-trainer events
• Provide periodic onsite management of new programs as required
• Support L&D compliance & remediation activities and process improvements & automations
• Coach, manage, and develop others (e.g., L&D project specialists, shared services staff, etc.)
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Prior experience developing/delivering audit/accounting training programs
• CPA, CA designation
• Strong consulting skills for effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of business strategy and how they translate to L&D priorities
• Ability to exercise judgment and involve stakeholders appropriately
• Use logic, creativity, automation, and innovation in learning strategies/solutions
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines
• Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design
• Supervisory and facilitation skills
