As a Lead Full Stack Cloud Developer, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Take an "always learning" approach to leadership, driving innovation and fostering professional growth within the team.
• Lead and contribute as a technical team leader across multiple concurrent development & full stack cloud projects.
• Serve as a technical Lead (Subject Matter Expert), designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance full stack solutions for client organizations.
• Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for applications and data technologies, leveraging cloud environments and service-oriented architecture principles.
• Design and develop full stack applications, ensuring seamless integration across cloud infrastructure, data flow, security, and DevOps pipelines.
• Propose and implement best practices to optimize clients' cloud presence, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the architecture, deployment, and modernization of applications in cloud environments, including containerization and microservices.
• Communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
• Provide guidance on project priorities, resource allocation, and scheduling for cloud-related initiatives.
• Mentor globally distributed teams and coach team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering collaborative, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Mentoring globally distributed teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Identify, qualify, and close new service opportunities with clients while managing and expanding existing client relationships.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise in emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies related to full stack and cloud engineering.
Experience and skills you'll use to solve
• A passion for staying updated on technology trends, an openness to learning new tools, and adaptability in your approach.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in software development , including 5+ years leading cloud-based fullstack projects in a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Java , Python , Node.js , Go , C# , or Ruby , and hands-on experience with corresponding frameworks like Spring Boot , Django , FastAPI , Flask , NestJS , or Express.js .
• Strong knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate , iBatis , SQLAlchemy , and TypeORM to optimize and manage database interactions.
• Expertise in frontend frameworks such as React , Angular , or Vue.js , with strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and state management libraries (e.g., Redux , MobX ).
• Experience in mobile development using React Native , Flutter , or native tools for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java) .
• Proven expertise in cloud-native architectures using platforms like Google Cloud , Azure , or AWS , with certifications such as GCP Cloud Architect , AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect .
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture , RESTful APIs , GraphQL , and event-driven systems using tools like Kafka , RabbitMQ , or Google Pub/Sub .
• Strong database expertise in relational databases ( PostgreSQL , MySQL , SQL Server ) and NoSQL databases ( MongoDB , DynamoDB , Cassandra ).
• Practical application of software engineering principles like SOLID , DRY , and clean code practices to create scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies ( Docker ) for building and orchestrating containerized applications.
• Expertise in DevOps practices , including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows , and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform , Ansible , or CloudFormation .
• Proven experience with serverless computing frameworks such as Google Cloud / CloudRun Functions, Azure Functions , or AWS Lambda .
• Demonstrated ability to modernize legacy systems, including application migrations to the cloud and rearchitecting systems for scalability and performance.
• Knowledge of integration patterns , including Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) , Batch Integration , Pub/Sub , and Event-Driven Architecture .
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus , Grafana , ELK Stack , or Datadog ) for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges across multiple environments and business functions.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, create documentation, and drive technical discussions.
Bonus Skills:
• Expertise in application migrations to the cloud , including re-platforming and re-hosting strategies.
• Experience creating and managing GitOps pipelines for streamlined development and deployment workflows.
• Advanced certifications in Kubernetes , cloud platforms , or enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF).
