Job Description
Brainhunter is currently seeking "Medical Writer" to work for our valued Client. This is a 12-month hybrid contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Author and implement key operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, job aids and other associated documents to drive standardization and operational efficiency within Central Pharmacy Services (CPS).
Write SOPs in a simplified, clear and concise manner that effectively communicates the process to colleagues
Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to develop comprehensive process maps to support documentation development.
Critically examine current-state processes and highlight opportunities to streamline
Highlight potential compliance gap to subject matter experts
Manage multiple SOP projects simultaneously.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to support document reviews and approvals in a timely manner.
Follow regulatory good documentation practices, and documentation control processes
Develop work back schedule for the entirety of scope and provide weekly progress update and schedule adherence. Work under the guidance of the Quality Assurance (QA) manager to prioritize SOPs and job aids to develop.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years working in a pharmacy setting or similarly regulated environment
Excellent English reading and writing skills are essential; French language proficiency is considered an asset
Communicates well in writing by composing clear documents; facility with editing and/or proof-reading is required.
Communicates with clarity, verbally and in one on one or group situations, or over the telephone.
Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
Provides solutions by using imaginative approaches where constructive thinking and innovation are required.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Strong quality orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and adhere to compliance/audit requirements.
Requires an ability to apply concepts and theories to improve functions or units within CPS
Ability to see SOP projects through to implementation
Infrequent travel to out-of-province sites may be required once or twice during the course of the mandate
