We are looking for a finance professional who brings a good amount of experience working in various finance roles and thus well familiar with the wide range of finance processes. In dealing with the day-to-day tasks the person in this role should be comfortable with the start-up nature of the business and thus be flexible and adoptable to the changing environment and requirements

What you will do
  • Accounting, Reporting & Analysis, Audit:
    • Ensure complete accounting, WIP valuation and Delivery center and Opco cost accruals for Advisory for month-end closing
    • Prepare management reporting and analysis for Advisory function (Delivery center / Service Lines) and alignment with Central finance for Consolidated reporting on periodic basis
    • Monitoring of engagement profitability and alignment with business to improve financial results at engagement level
    • Support information requested for annual statutory audit of Advisory Opco
  • Budgeting and Forecast
    • Align with Advisory stakeholders and management team to develop annual budget and forecast based on Central finance framework
    • Monitor full year forecast and ensure implementation of management actions to achieve agreed targets - Review and challenge spend requests.
    • Ensure that KDN Advisory spend stays within the limits of available funding and approved budgets
  • Engagement Management and GDC Operations
    • Assist the business with pricing decisions and lead the development of appropriate rate cards
    • Ensure provision of all information required to enable efficient engagement management
    • Oversee the GDC operational reporting process and provide guidance on the appropriate reporting - Support development of performance KPIs and agree these with the GDCs. Monitor the adherence of the GDCs to those KPI's
    • Align with Delivery center finance teams for financial and operational information
  • Finance Processes and Technology
    • Monitor invoicing and collections process in compliance with AR collection and escalation policy.
    • Assist business with resolving disputes related to the outstanding invoices.
    • Ensure bad debt provisions are made as per policy. -
    • Collaborate with Central Finance team to drive technology and operational improvements, process optimization,
    • Develop and maintain approval matrix for KDN Advisory - Support on boarding of new delivery center or conversion of contracted delivery center to KDN owned - Other ad hoc and special projects
What you bring to the role
  • Minimum 8 years progressive financial and management accounting experience
  • Proven success working within an international environment and a complex organizational structure
  • Minimum an undergraduate degree in business or finance
  • CPA or other comparable accounting qualification
  • Experience preparing management reporting
  • Experience developing budgeting and forecasting models
  • able to work and influence cross functionally and across boders
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
