The Audit Learning team is tasked with design and delivery of effective learning solutions that support audit quality of engagement work.

As the Senior Analyst, Audit Learning, you are responsible for assisting the Audit Learning and Development (L&D) team to successfully deliver learning solutions directly aligned to business requirements of KPMG's Audit practice across Canada.

As part of the Audit Learning team, you will build and analyze learning and key performance indicator reports that will enable us to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

What you will do
  • Support the team's measurement and evaluation strategy and daily data analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze data of complex reports using KPIs to inform action and leadership decisions.
  • Design, implement, coordinate or leverage automation to enhance work efficiencies.
  • Supervise other data analysts and help translate client needs to technical requirements and vice-versa.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the essential business decision and challenge at hand, then build analytics that provide new insight and awareness to support business leaders in their decision-making.
  • Define the logic and/or algorithms required to perform data analysis.
  • Support leadership in building relevant management dashboards.
  • Analyze, transform, and interpret data for the development of insights, reports, visualizations, and dashboards, emphasizing usability and good design practices.

What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor degree in Data Programs, Stats, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, information management, data management , applied math, or applied statistics.
  • Proficiency and knowledge in databases including SQL, My SQL, Oracle etc. with at least 2 years of experience with SQL code scripting, including creation/implementation of API's and debugging ability.
  • Proficiency and knowledge in analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate with at least 2 years of experience using PowerBI for managing complex data and reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of data extraction tools and utilities.
  • Strong Statistical Knowledge and Mathematical Foundations.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience by effectively managing and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances productivity and drives project success.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) - ability to work with multiple stakeholders, communicate priorities and manage expectations.
  • Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills - you are a proactive person and always come up with new ideas and ways of working forward.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical acumen, strong problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking, writing, presentation, attention to detail and project management skills, including time-sensitive projects.
  • Experience with learning management systems and data a strong asset.
  • Adept at relationship building and open to feedback.
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $73,00 to $109,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
