At PwC, our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Menaingful work you'll be part of
As a Human Capital Service Centre Team Lead , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for providing front-facing support to routine questions, completed inquiries and transactional support to HC processes firmwide while working in collaboration with various Centre of Excellence teams, HR Business Partners (HCBP), HC Professional Services Team, and HC Technology Team to effectively enable HR operations

• Scope of support can include Core HR, Disability administration, Leaves, Offboarding, Global Mobility administration, HC projects, and Data Management & Reporting

• Act as next level support for query resolution and complex inquiries while escalating issues and resolving matters in partnership with HCSC Manager

• Responsible for ensuring process documentation updates and provides on the job coaching and training to administrators

• Understands the full range of HC processes and programs available to our people, researches ad hoc requests or escalations, while c ollaborating with various teams to respond to ongoing queries and issue resolution

• Works with and reviews large files and data sets as part of process audits, validations and payroll cut off, which includes uploading data files in Workday and processing corrections

• Experience running HC reports and manipulating data for various business reporting needs and process efficiency

• Constantly seeking ways to streamline work processes and improve workflow by using technologies

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Technical knowledge including experience with Workday, Service Now Ticketing Tool and Microsoft

• Relevant experience in an HC environment, as an HR Advisor or HC Generalist Role

• Exceptional critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to review own work and others work for accuracy and completeness

• Ability to provide support and recommendations on best practices related to Workday and other systems and processes to HCSC team members and other teams, while understanding the impacts of change management

• Strong relationship building and consulting skills, facilitates group discussions with a focus on customer service, with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels within the Firm including leadership

• Excellent judgment, communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving skills and time management and listening skills

• Ability to deal with competing activities/tasks with changing priorities, can perform under time constraints and can adapt to changing demands and pressures ca lmly to meet deadlines

• Ability to work both independently and as a team player

• Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation complete or in progress is preferred
