This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis for the Credit Operations & Enablement departments. Key responsibilities include providing financial guidance on initiatives and evaluating their effectiveness through detailed financial analysis.

This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis for the Credit Operations & Enablement departments. Key responsibilities include providing financial guidance on initiatives and evaluating their effectiveness through detailed financial analysis.
What you'll do:
- Oversee financial planning activities, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Manage month- and quarter-end closing processes for wireless, wireline, and media business units, including variance analysis and presentations.
- Collaborate with Controllers, Finance, and Business Operations teams to manage financial goals, including headcount, accounts receivable, days sales outstanding, and bad debts.
- Lead working teams and provide direction to the Operations team in gathering relevant financial data; attend regular meetings with business stakeholders to validate results and present findings to senior management.
- Analyze key financial drivers and provide insights using rate/volume schedules.
- Conduct business ROI evaluations as needed.
- Develop and present financial models and business cases for senior management review and approval.
- Support business teams with procurement requests.
- Investigate and resolve outstanding Purchase Orders (POs) and prepare PO reconciliations for quarterly sign-off.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls for financial reporting and adhere strictly to policy requirements.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and prepare business presentations as required.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Analysts.
- Strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and expertise in operational and financial analysis, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAS, Oracle, and Essbase financial systems is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science required.
- Financial designation (CPA, CFA) or MBA with 3-5 years of progressive experience is an asset.
- Experience in credit risk, collection call center support, or management is an advantage.
