Hours: Sunday - Wednesday 2230-0630hrs
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Working on assigned shifts, you will work full time shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time. You will be driving and patrolling the hospital grounds in a marked company patrol vehicle responding to all incidents on hospital property.

Requirements:
• Must possess a valid G Class Driver's Licence with 3 years driving experience
• Must provide driver abstract with no more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years
• Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
• Valid Ontario Security Licence
• Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy

Required online courses from the Paladin Learning Management System;
• Paladin's Driver's Licence Course
• Mental Health Awareness
• Supervisor 1
• Supervisor 2
• Supervisor 3

Certification Requirements (Any)

Valid G Licence
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
