Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Network Infrastructure, the Senior Network Analyst is a key technical resource responsible for supporting and maintaining the corporate network infrastructure. The Senior Network Analyst will leverage a deep understanding of networking technology and protocols to support and troubleshoot KPMG's advanced infrastructure, consisting of Cisco SDA, SD-WAN, Azure Cloud services, and Palo Alto firewalls. Must also have experience supporting remote access technologies, such as Cisco VPN and Cisco Meraki wireless solutions. This person will be a member of a nation-wide team of technical staff focused on building, supporting, and maintaining KPMG's network and IT infrastructure. The Analyst has strong communication skills, is proactive, needs little supervision and is comfortable working in an environment that deals with various levels of management. There are no people management responsibilities. On-call availability is required.

What you will do
  • Support, administration and configuration of Cloud services, Azure, AWS and GCP
  • Support KPMG's core Cisco technologies, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco SD-Access, with a focus on proactive improvement of network health - solving issues before they impact applications and services
  • Support, administration and configuration of Cisco Meraki wireless network devices and policies
  • Work closely with Operations, Support and Architecture team members to implement proactive approaches to monitoring and reporting on network services that maximize uptime, reliability and visibility
  • Document/Develop/Review operational processes and troubleshooting guides for Network Support and Operations staff
  • Work with Cisco and other vendors to resolve KPMG network issues
  • Perform application updates, security patches and configuration changes on network hardware, services and systems.
  • Work with support vendors to resolve issues, and to improve KPMG's networks.
  • Work as a resource on multiple concurrent projects and ensure implementation of network services and solutions to meet business requirements.

What you bring to the role
  • College Diploma or University Degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of Azure networking experience, administering, troubleshooting and automation (scripting)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with supporting a medium to large Cisco SDWAN environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of Palo Alto Firewall administration
  • Minimum for 2 years of experience administering and troubleshooting SDA environment using Cisco DNAC and Cisco ISE
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a Cisco Meraki wireless environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting routing and switching in a complex Cisco based network environment that includes voice, video and data. Experience administering Cisco ACI policy administration is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of F5 Load Balancer administration
  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE would be an asset
  • Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE would be an asset
  • Understanding of Netflow and SNMP protocols to review network flows and metrics, and produce operational reports
  • Sound knowledge of TCP/IP and network routing protocols, including EIGRP and BGP
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; comfortable working in an environment that deals with various levels of management
  • Highly self-motivated and directed and keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
