Our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) professionals provide a range of assurance and advisory services to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit functions, enterprise risk management programs, third-party relationships, regulatory compliance, governance and sustainability initiatives. We analyze and assess an organization's business strategies and related business processes and systems to help management understand and address business objectives, requirements, risks, controls, and improvement opportunities. Our professionals bring both deep technical and industry experience, allowing clients to strengthen their key governance, risk management and compliance efforts while optimizing business performance.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in executing on the strategic business plan to grow market share and leading a team of professionals dedicated to servicing our Financial Services clients in delivering governance, risk and compliance services.

What you will do
- Lead large complex Advisory engagements related to Risk and Controls, Issue validation, Issue remediation, business process, performance assessment, and regulatory compliance projects
- Facilitate risk assessments and advise on suitable strategies to manage risks
- Participate in the development and delivery of analyses, client engagement plans, deliverables, reports and presentations as well as reviewing the quality of the fieldwork and deliverables prepared by other engagement members
- Advise clients in the Financial Services sector in designing and implementing risk management frameworks from strategic to operational levels including risk strategy, appetite, governance, policies, culture and technology systems
- Coach and mentor junior staff of the team
- Significantly contribute in business development efforts including proposals, marketing material, and internal and external presentations in the Financial Services sector
- Manage projects of varying scope and size, including budgeting and forecasting, execution of project timelines, mentor and support other team members, and manage client relationships
- Deliver multiple simultaneous client engagements of varying size, scope and complexity
- Deliver high quality work that is on time and in compliance with the Firm's quality standards
- 8-10 years of experience in Financial Services within the Enterprise Risk, Compliance Control or Internal Audit functions.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and an interest in developing others.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing reports and presenting to audiences at the executive level.
- Knowledge of the financial services sector (understanding of the different products/services/channels).
- Experience in planning and scoping audit engagements including budgeting and staff allocation.
- CPA, CA, CIA, CFE, CAMS, or other relevant professional designation is an asset.
- Experience in key regulatory issue remediation, issue validation for North American regulators is an asset.
