The Senior Manager, AML Risk Assessments and Metrics is accountable for leading and driving the successful development and execution of the Enterprise's AML product risk assessment and driving the successful development, maintenance and implementation of the AML Metrics Monitoring Framework and Process across the enterprise to assess AML risk and ensure these processes are appropriately governed. This role will lead a team responsible for the development, oversight and change management activities to assess and manage Product Risks and lead the development and execution of the AML Metrics Program. This role must constantly adapt to a changing internal and external environment, managing risk and regulatory exposure at an increased pace.

Provide thought leadership and manage the execution of AML product risk assessments
- Develop, enhance, and implement methodology to assessing products risk across the AML program (horizontal risk assessments)
- Manage and support the execution of AML product risk assessments
- Develop, enhance and maintain risk tools (e.g. product risk assessments, key metric dashboard, etc.)
- Support and driving consistency in the implementation of the AML risk framework and methodology across the enterprise
- Overseeing, refining and integrating the AML risk framework into the business and AML Program strategies
- Drive consistency to risk framework and methodologies across BMOFG and assess potential impacts and changes required to the AML risk program
- Develop process and approach to linking horizontal risk data against LE/ LOB risk
- Define/Build, continually enhance and maintain the execution of delivering effective AML metrics and ensuring strong and effective oversight of the Global AML program (Governance and Oversight, Training, FIU CDA, FIU US, KYC for each LOB, Asia, HK, and Europe metrics)
- Compile data to produce the AML Program metrics dashboard including reporting to senior level mgmt., executive management and the board. Assess data for validity and given the type and number of clientele, the jurisdictions we operate in, the products we offer in those jurisdictions, etc.
- Challenge the data with the source owners to ensure interpretation of the data is factual and well understood
- Present all metrics findings to AROC (AML Risk Oversight Committee - approx. 25 members across the Global AML program - all directors and above), with detailed findings on metrics where AML exposure is present. Work with various owners to understand exposure and path back to expected results. Ensure consistent application and interpretation of all metrics.
- Communicate and influence change with US partners on metrics monitoring for consistency and alignment.

- Manages databases and provides support for analysis, forecasting and/or data visualization, ensuring adherence with data governance standards.
- Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations; includes identification of risk impacts for new processes and workflows related to initiatives.
- Coordinates and monitors the review and sign-off of attestations and reporting.
- Maintains tools and templates for financial crime risk programs (e.g., AML Legislative Compliance Program), as required.
- Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.

Qualifications: - Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- In-depth / expert knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- In-depth / expert knowledge of quantitative techniques and economic capital methodologies.
- In-depth / expert knowledge & experience with risk policy frameworks; quality control / testing frameworks.
