What will your typical day look like?

Team Overview:

The FHI (Financial Health and Insights) team, a part of Deloitte Global Finance, leads critical financial initiatives and advises Global leadership, including the Executive Committee (ExCo), Operating Committee (OpCo), Global Board of Directors, and key forums like the World Meeting. We specialize in translating complex financial data into strategic narratives for decision-makers, managing urgent ad-hoc requests on pressing topics, conducting deep-dive analyses on member firm performance, and assessing risks to the organization's financial health. Our work ensures alignment between financial insights and global strategy, fostering informed leadership actions.

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will support strategic financial analysis, reporting, and communication initiatives for Deloitte's global leadership. This role requires a detail-oriented professional adept at translating data into actionable insights, crafting compelling presentations, and collaborating across teams to drive execution.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Data Analysis & Storytelling:
  • Perform quantitative analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Transform complex data into clear, concise narratives for presentations and reports.
  • Assist in storyboarding insights to support decision-making by senior leadership (e.g., COO, CFO, Board of Directors)

Reporting & Communication:
  • Draft and refine executive-level presentations, reports, and speaking notes in polished, grammatically precise English.
  • Document meeting outcomes, track action items, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Support strategic communications to member firms and internal teams.

Operational Support:
  • Build and maintain Excel models for financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with Global Finance, Strategy, and Operations teams to validate analyses and align recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and deliverables.
Project Coordination:
  • Act as a self-starter, owning projects from conception to completion with limited supervision.
  • Manage timelines and dependencies for assigned tasks, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and contribute to team efforts during peak workloads, including occasional evenings/weekends.

About the team

Global Finance provides the most cutting-edge and insightful research and analysis of the financial health of the entire Deloitte organization around the world. We advise, guide, and monitor global initiatives in five major areas: tax, member-firm reporting, finance and accounting, strategic projects, and financial analysis.

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, financial analysis, or corporate strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, data visualization).
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to synthesize data into insights and present them logically.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
  • Master's degree (MBA or related field) or progress toward one.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SAP, Access) or BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Exposure to project management methodologies.

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced, dynamic setting with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required to meet critical deadlines.
  • Hybrid/remote work options may be available, subject to team needs.
  • Occasional travel, typically not exceeding 5% of the time.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
