•Position 1: Monday - Friday + Weekends - 0700 - 1500
• Position 2: Monday to Friday + Weekends 1500 - 2100
• Position 3: Saturday and Sunday - 1500 - 2300
• Position 4: Saturday and Sunday - 0700 - 1500
Payrate: | $18.30/hour

Job Description:


•Access control, property patrols, incident reporting, CCTV and fire panel monitoring, emergency response and customer service
•Maintain workflow to ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and assignments were completed in an accurate and timely manner and forwarded to management
•Ensuring a safe and effective working environment by the proper use of all equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established health and safety policies and procedures
•Initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
•Standing or sitting for long periods of time
•Greet tenants, clients, and the general public
•Provide helpful guidance and assistance
•Direct individuals to required destinations
•Sustain effective relationships with visitors, tenants and staff through courteous and respectful relations
Prerequisites:


•Valid Ontario Security Guard license
•Valid WSIB Approved Emergency / STANDARD First Aid and CPR with AED
•Must be covid-19 Fully vaccinated and be able to provide proof od receiving a minimum 2 vaccine doses.
•Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent/post-secondary diploma or degree
•Minimum 1 year security-related experience preferred
•Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
•High level of customer service
•Superior customer service skills
•Proficiency with Windows-based software and knowledge of PC-based incident reporting software
•Knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire equipment, and fire monitoring systems
•Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws and bi-laws
•Position requires the ability to walk/stand/climb stairs for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
•Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
•Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware:

The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability

Certification Requirements (All)

Minimum 6 months security experience
COVID Double Vaccinated
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
