Position: Event/Site Security Guard

Location: Fort Erie

Status: Temporary Full Time & Part Time (April to October)

Hours: 8 to 12-hour shifts

Pay Rate: $19/hr. - $19.75/hr. "based on experience".

Job Skills / Requirements

Job Description:
• Access/Crowd Control, Guards will be posted at Key Entrances/exits but may also include area patrols.
• Guards will report suspicious activity to Supervisor/On Site Management
• Guards must be okay with walking/standing for extended periods of time and able to work outside for duration of event.
• Line management & crowd control
• Customer Service
• Emergency conflict resolution
Requirements:
• Valid Security License
• Valid First AID CPR Certificate
• Legally allowed to work in Canada
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to walk, stand & climb stair for longer periods of time
• Good communication skills
• Reliable own transportation to the site
• Smart Serve would be an asset
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB pre-employment certification training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB pre-employment certification training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the certification training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability

Certification Requirements (All)

Vehicle Required
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
