About the Job:
Mindwire is currently seeking a SAP Administrator to work for our valued Crown Corporation client.
This is a remote position located in, Regina Saskatchewan
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing system administration and SAP Basis support for SAP landscape
• Administration will include assisting with installation, upgrades and providing on-going maintenance, patches on SAP application.
• Provides daily operations support for SAP systems and technical infrastructure, including but not limited to transport administration, user accounts and authorization
• Maintain multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, quality assurance and production)
• Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.
• Raise notes to SAP as required and monitor resolution of notes
• Distribute the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP background job workload
• Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.
• Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.)
• Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required
• Apply and migrate SAP maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a structured methodology
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces
• Support business needs like creating user ids, creating new SAP clients, troubleshooting problems
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Must have 5-8 years of Basis
• Certification in HANA2.0
• Experience in SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud Connector
• SAP NetWeaver Gateway (Fiori) administration
• Experience in SAP Content server management
• Administration of SAP MaxDB database
• Cloud platform Integration experience
• Extensive experience with systems monitoring, job scheduling, system configuration, authorizations, transports, SAP database tools, SAP Landscape, and client administration such as copies, deletions, and refreshes
• Must have thorough knowledge of NetWeaver 7.x, ECC 6, PI, BW, Business Objects, system installations and administration, as well as good understanding of the SAP architecture and multiple application modules
• Must have thorough knowledge of Solution Manager, specifically, but not limited to, monitoring, Test Suite and ChaRM
