As we expand into Canada, we are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to support our growing team remotely.
Position Overview:We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to oversee key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job postings to interviews and hiring decisions.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Oversee onboarding and training programs for new hires.
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Support leadership in workforce planning and company culture initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws in Canada and the USA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a remote or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of Canadian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR functions.
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $28 to $45 per hour, based on experience.
