Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere ND and WebSphere Liberty environments.
- Deploy and maintain J2EE applications on WebSphere ND and Liberty servers.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of WebSphere ND and Liberty environments.
- Implement and manage logging mechanisms to ensure effective monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WebSphere applications and servers.
- Manage SSL certificates, including creation, renewal, and installation using iKeyman.
- Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and key tab files.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
- Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
- Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest WebSphere ND and Liberty technologies and best practices.
- Familiar with SDLC and different methodologies
- Drive the intake and estimations meetings and take up Release Lead responsibilities per platform need
- Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a WebSphere ND and WebSphere Liberty Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IBM WebSphere ND and WebSphere Liberty architecture and administration.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of J2EE applications.
- Proficiency in environment performance tuning and optimization.
- Intake/Release Management experience
- Familiarity with logging mechanisms and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience managing SSL certificates using iKeyman.
- Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and key tab management.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with WebSphere Portal and other IBM middleware products.
- Certification in IBM WebSphere ND and WebSphere Liberty Administration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.
- Experience with Intake/Release Management
