Job Description:


In this key role, you will oversee Brampton Civic Hospital. Your role will be to monitor numerous systems including fire and life safety, access control and CCTV. You will assist in tracking and deployment of security staff and handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking.

• Utilizing Two-way Radio Communication and Perspective Software
• Overseeing the tracking and deployment of security personnel across all of Brampton Civic Hospital
• Monitor numerous systems including fire and life safety
• Access control and parking
• Assign reports to security personnel when required using reporting software
• Investigate routine incidents

Requirements:

•Previous dispatch security experience is an asset, mimimum 3 years of security or related experience
•Minimum 2 (two) years of security or related experience
•Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program from a recognized college
•Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
•Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
•All successful applicants must undergo a vulnerable sector check
