Description
Fortinet is looking for an enthusiastic and talented DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team to work with developers and other operational specialists to automate and modernize our hybrid infrastructure. You will be involved with working in a wide variety of cloud and on premises computing technology in both the development and operational stages.

Responsibilities:

- Writing specifications and documentation
- CI/CD management and automation
- Work with automation services and platforms
- Scripting and coding
- System administration
- Infrastructure management
- Security, performance and availability assessment
- Monitoring

Experience and skills:

- Over 3 years of profession experience as developer / system administrator / DevOps engineer
- TCP/IP networking, firewalls, switching, and packet sniffers
- Unix/Linux, Windows platform system installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
- Open-source automation tools (Git, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Terraform)
- Cloud services (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Strong Virtualization experience (VMware, KVM)
- Programming languages (PHP, Javascript)
- Scripting languages (Bash, Powershell, Python, GO)
- SQL or NoSQL databases

Personal attributes:

- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team
- Excellent language skills in English - oral and written

Educational Requirements:

- A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or demonstrable industry experience
- Certifications in networking (NSE/CCIE/CCNP/CCSP), cloud platforms and or other relevant certifications would be highly desirable
